What's Included:
Your "Bike & Barge" tour includes the following:
- Thirteen nights aboard the barge.
- All meals (packed lunches) except one dinner. Meals start on Saturday evening the day of arrival.
- All scheduled ferry fees and entry fees to parks and museums.
- Museum pass for tours that end in Amsterdam, good for a year.
- Two trained Dutch guides...one for each group: the short/slow group and the long/faster group.
- Tips to the crew are included in your costs (however, you may tip a crew member extra for any personal service).
- A 21-speed hybrid bike equipped with panniers and gel seats.
- A booklet detailing the daily routing will be supplied before departure.
- Return to Schiphol airport (if docked in Amsterdam) via van or bus on Friday morning. One scheduled van or bus departure only. Any deviation from our scheduled transport is at your expense. Tours ending in Bruges and France do not include transport at the conclusion of the tour.
Deposits and Payments for 2012 Tours: Deposits are $500 per person and are fully refundable until December 1st, 2011. December 1st, 2011 and after, deposits are refundable less $200 per person until 70 days before the tour starts, when the final payment is due. No refunds after 70 days before the tour starts.
